Views of Maine: camping views: a group of men and women camping on the Androscoggin River sitting around a campfire, a family sitting under an awning, tents beyond, and a deer hunters' camp showing men cooking and relaxing and deer hanging up; an Indian camp showing family group sitting in front of tent; a lighthouse, with rock fence and house in foregroiund, mills or manufacturing buildings; log drives at unidentified locations, showing logs in rivers, men with peavies, an ox team in the foreground, logs and a bridge beyond; men on a mountain wearing packs, one holding a small dog; a road leading to a village; store fronts, including news agentand express company, men out front; a tannery; a home; Montreal House; group of men and women posing on steps of large building, flag draped overhead, and a sign reading "Headquarters First ME Cavalry".
