- Views of ships in New York harbor: broadside view of the armored cruiser, "Colorado" with launches moored to her; the small cruiser "Marblehead" from off the port bow, men in dories; the small cruiser "Montgomery" from off the starboard bow; Navy ram, the "Katahdin"; small sleek steam vessel, the "Gloucester," U.S.N., with battleship beyond; U. S. Army transport "Sumner"; unidentified steamship with two masts, possibly a Navy vessel; unidentified sailing vessel; side-wheeled steamship, the "Narragansett"; the "Isis" of Jersey City, a wide-beamed boat with superstructure that looks like a small grain elevator, lower Manhaatan visible beyond.
