- Half the material concerns Lourié's opera-ballet, The feast during the plague (Le festin pendant le peste; Pir vo vrem︠i︡a chumy; Il festino durante la peste) and the Suite from this work. Other material includes libretto and notes on the opera, The blackamoor of Peter the Great (Arap Petra Velikogo); the libretto for an opera based on Pushkin's Mozart and Salieri, possibly to be entitled Zavistʹ (Invidia); 1 leaf of musical sketches marked Invidia; texts for various songs and other shorter works, and a typed letter (in French, dated 1952 June 26) from the Vatican about Lourié's motet Anathema. Papers are chiefly typescript or carbon copies of typescript, with some manuscripts in ink, probably in Lourié's hand.
