• 280 copies designed by the artist (Barbara Kruger) and printed at A. Colish, Mount Vernon, N.Y., on Rives paper from Century Schoolbook type. One of 250 unnumbered copies; signed in pencil by the author and the artist.
• Subsequently issued in a trade edition (New York : Knopf, 1989).
• Title on p. [1-3] in oversized letters (from 24 x 31 cm. to 10 x 8 cm.); repeated twice, on p. [27-29] and, followed by statement of responsibility and colophon, on p. [59-64]; the whole screenprinted in white on red. Pages [4] and [58] and front and back pastedowns are entirely screenprinted red. Colophon lettering based on Helvetica Bold type. Screenprinting by Pinwheel, New York.
• Illustrations: 9 prints : offset lithograph, b&w with red (3), red (3), blue with red (3) ; full-page. Printed by Maurice Sánchez and James Miller at Derrière L'Etoile Studios, New York. Subject: Men and horses; based on 3 photographs.
• Binding: Quarter red leather and gray cloth with stainless steel plaques entirely covering front and back boards, by BookLab, Austin, Texas, under the supervision of Craig Jensen. Steel plaques manufactured by Herman Hirsch, Hi-Tech Stainless Steel Specialties, Dallas, Texas; Big Time digital clock mounted on front plaque. In light gray tweed buckram solander case with title stamped in silver on red leather spine label.
