Binding: Dark red morocco, gilt, with inlays of black and green morocco, by Riviere & Son. Doublures of green morocco, gilt, with inlaid border of purple, green, black and red morocco, gilt; end leaves of green watered silk. Bound in 2 v. and conserved in dark green morocco pull-off case with 2 book-shaped compartments. Binder's title: Aesop's fables: drawings and tracings by John Tenniel.
