- Play is a dialogue with one part in English and one in French. "Performed ... in 1975 and 1976 at Our Domestic Resurrection Circus of the Bread and Puppet Theater in Glover, Vermont"--Sound disc sleeve.
- At head of title: Bread and Puppet.
- Printed on one side of a strip of light gray Twinrocker paper with areas of dark gray, white, brown and yellow worked in the pulp, forming a background for the ill. Strip formed from 6 joined sheets folded accordion style. Paper made by Claire Van Vliet and Kathryn Clark.
- Illustrations by Claire Van Vliet: 4 prints : masonite relief, collograph, white and gray ; double-page.
- Accompanied by 2 copies of the sound disc with "Music while the audience gathers in the woods" (selections by Guillaume Dufay and other 13th-15th century composers, performed by the Fyre and Lightning Consort) on side 1 and the recording of the performance, with accompanying music by Friedrich von Hausen and others, on side 2. One copy of disc in decorative paper sleeve, inserted between 2 leaves with photos. of the performance and program note, attached to the case; one copy in conventional sleeve, with photos. and program note.
- Issued in case covered and lined with natural Belgian linen and gray linen-finish cloth, with masonite relief decoration printed in gray on front and back covers; made by James Bicknell, Nancy Southworth and Tamara Schumann.
