• Printed on one side of a strip formed from 14 joined sheets, folded accordion-style and attached to the binding at back pastedown; blank sheet of gray paper, not counted in collation, attached to p. 1. Additional text (artist's note and colophon) printed on front and back pastedown, respectively.
• Illustrations consist of irregular shapes printed in black, royal blue and indigo from aquatinted plates combined with broadly flowing images in blue water color to create a continuous image covering entire surface of p. [2-14]; p. [8-11] also overprinted in indigo.
