Summary
Documents the alarming and tragic spread of AIDS among the Hispanic population in American cities. Although the film's focus is Philadelphia, the scene and the situation is much the same in many drug and poverty-ridden cities across America. Through interviews and comments of Hispanics themselves some of the contributing factors in this tragic situation begin to emerge - drug abuse, machismo, and social and religious attitudes. The urgent need for compassion for those infected and education for those not yet infected is made shatteringly clear.
