Primarily views of European locales, including unidentified street scenes in France; an aqueduct; waterfront scenes with ships; tombs, including Leon Gambetta's; unidentified aristocratic interiors; and obelisk on the back of a sculpted elephant in an unidentifed square; a shepherd and his flock; a monument to H.P. de Saussure at Chamonix; views of Switzerland including views of mountains, glaciers, streams, waterfalls, bridges, a cog railroad, boats on Lake Geneva, chateau, a small chapel, a fountain in Bern, the village of Leysin, and the Dent du Midi, women doing laundry in a lake; views along the Rhine, including Rheinfalls, Godesberg, Braubach; a German monument; a view of the English countryside; British seaside views including beaches, bathers, piers and boats at Hastings, Clovelly, Southport, Margate, Clacton-on-Sea, Bournemouth, Whitby, Saltburn by the Sea and Teignmouth; rocky coast at Silex Bay; a steam vessel, the Marguerite; a view of New York tenements with laundry hanging out.
