- A. Philip Randolph discusses an Organization of Colored Locomotive Firemen, Switchmen and Brakemen court case. He explains the strategy of an impending court battle, the time involved and the financial resources it will require from its members. Following, is Ashley Totten, secretary-treasurer, who speaks on the status of finances of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters and gives a report. Joseph Rauh, chief attorney for the Provisional Committee for the Organization of Colored Locomotive Firemen, Switchmen and Brakemen, is represented by Ronald Sachs who asks members to supply any information or details regarding discrimination experiences while working for the railroad which could possibly be used in a court case. Next, Ashley Totten and A. P. Randolph answer questions about membership dues, bookkeeping, etc.
