• First printed in Italian by Miscomini, 1494, without ill. Original Latin text first published in the early 16th century. Cf. Goff S-200, S-198.
• Perhaps printed by L. Morgiani and J. Petri, ca. 1495-1496, or by A. Tubini and A. Ghirlandi, ca. 1500 or later; type often identified as latter's (e.g. by Proctor and Goff), but resembles Morgiani's type 4 (85-86 R).
• Signatures: a-b⁸ c4.
• 38 lines; white on black faceted initial; Lombard initials.
• Illustrations: 15 prints from 8 blocks : woodcut ; image 8 x 11 cm. (1), 10 x 9 cm. (1), 8 x 10 cm. (1) and 35 x 35 mm. or smaller. Large cuts each within decorative border. Cut on p. [37] (c3r) repeated from the Morgiani and Petri ed. of Savonarola's Operetta sopra i dieci comandamenti di Dio (probably printed before 24 Oct. 1495); block is now worn with a crack on right side. Most small cuts repeated from the Morgiani and Petri ed. of Epistole et Evangeli (27 July 1495). For detailed description, cf. Sander.
