  • Includes wrappers with the trademarks of Giosefo Valle, Ercole Vezolo, G.B. Pellizzone, Seron, Guglielmo de Berti, Francisco Cislago, G.B. Bosso, Carlo Fromento, Giovan de Fideli, C. & A. Belloni, Arigo Valle, Pietro Penna, H. Giusano & B. Belono and G.D. Valle.

  • Collection includes 3 half-sheets (1st leaf of wrapper, with trademark); duplicates of 2 wrappers (Giosefo Valle and Seron); and a variant of the Seron wrapper (apparently a reworked block, with legend "Nella bottega di cartaria ala piazza dei mercanti i Milano") with trademark repeated on verso of 2nd leaf.
  • Most wrappers subsequently used as document folders, with docket names and dates inscribed in a contemporary hand; dates range from 1556 to 1659. One wrapper contains a document, dated 1570, on white paper with watermark of serpent ([7] p.).
