- N.Y. export, op. jazz was first performed on June 8, 1958 by the Ballets: USA company with choreography by Jerome Robbins at the Festival of the Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy. The first American performance took place at the ANTA Theatre in New York City on October 8, 1961.
