Alicia Markova discusses her audition with Bronislava Nijinska for Diaghilev's Ballets russes; her devotion to Nijinska; their work together in Les Ballets russes and later with the Markova-Dolin Company; the Markova-Dolin Company revival of Les biches. Markova continues, discussing Nijinska's deafness, her phenomenal elevation, her greatness in teaching the great classical roles, and Markova's role in Les biches.
