- Streaming audio file (approximately 26 minutes). [Music and introduction by unidentified speaker of program and host, Walter Terry.] Walter Terry introduces the program and Ted Shawn. Ted Shawn speaks about his work with people suffering from physical illnesses and with athletes, with special emphasis on the relationship of rhythm and movement. He also speaks about dance as psychological-emotional therapy including his dance performances at state mental institutions and his work, under the supervision of psychiatrists, with emotionally disturbed individuals; the use of even as opposed to syncopated rhythms. [Closing remarks by unidentified speaker and music.]
