- Summary
- Ted Shawn speaks briefly about his first evening-length dance, O' libertad; describes his second evening-length dance, Dance of the ages including its division into four movements each corresponding to an element: fire, water, earth, and air, and his collaboration with the score's composer Jess Meeker. Shawn continues to speak as the film is shown, his commentary describing and explaining the choreography shown on-screen. There are occasional short silences, particularly in tracks 13 and 14.
