- Summary
- Part 1. Mr. Terry discusses sex motifs in ritual dancing, general parallels between traditional ceremonial dancing and modern dance, the varieties of sex dances, and the ritual and ceremonial dances of Haiti. After introducing Jean Léon Destiné and Myra Kinch Walter Terry continues his commentary during the dance demonstrations which follow. Jean Léon Destiné demonstrates movements and phrases from Haitian dances (drum accompaniment by Alphonse Cimber) -- Part 2. Mr. Terry introduces Miss Kinch and continues his discussion of the varieties of sex dances. Miss Kinch performs excerpts from her own dances as illustration. Terry discusses her solo dance, Fatima from Sarasota, which she then performs (piano accompaniment by Manuel Galea).
