- Summary
- Mr. Cullum discusses his career. Music from the Broadway musicals, 1776 and On a clear day you can see forever, is played. Miss Frankel discusses her beginnings as a dancer; the Dance-Drama Company; her career as a solo dancer; dancing full-length symphonic works with symphony orchestras; her forthcoming benefit performance at Alice Tully Hall, New York, for the Dance Collection; Todd Bolender's solo ballet Elektra, which he created for her. Excerpts from the music used for Elektra, Hans Werner Henze's Symphony no. 5, are played as Miss Frankel describes the emotional content and action of the dance. She discusses the choreography for The four seasons (Frankel) set to Vivaldi's music. John Cullum reads his poem, Autumn. Autumn, the finale from Vivaldi's The four seasons, is played.
