- Antoinette Sibley and Anthony Dowell speak with John Gruen about choreography created for them, in particular Kenneth MacMillan's ballet Manon; their thoughts on Manon; the reasons MacMillan did not use the music from [Jules] Massenet's opera Manon; working with each other and with MacMillan; Michael Somes including their respect and admiration for him; Sibley's and Dowell's partnership; Margot Fonteyn's and Rudolf Nureyev's partnership;Sibley's and Dowell's identities as dancers of the Royal Ballet; Covent Garden as a relatively difficult theater for dance; dancing as guest artists in Spoleto [at the Festival of Two Worlds]; [ends abruptly].

- Sound quality is fair. There is considerable extraneous noise due to the fact that the interview is being conducted in a restaurant. There are also occasional short gaps. However, the speakers' voices are always clearly audible.
