- Streaming audio file (approximately 35 minutes).Ted Shawn speaks about why he plans the programs for the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival tour to include ballet, modern and ethnic dance; and comments on the specific dances (performed on tour) that will appear in the film to be aired following his remarks: Shawn's dance Mevlevi dervish, Richard and Flora Stuart's dance Bolero of the capes, Myra Kinch's dances The troubled mind and The bird watcher, and an excerpt from Leonide Massine's Beau Danube. The latter part of the recording (from approximately 13:30 minutes to the end) consists of music from the film.
