- Ruth Lert reads her brief remarks, addressed to Margaret Gage, about the conversation she had with Mary Wigman, in Wigman's apartment in Berlin on Nov. 7, 1971 (ca. 1 min.); Lert's remarks are followed by her re-recording of an excerpt from her conversation with Wigman (ca. 11 min.). Lert's remarks are in English; the conversation with Wigman is in German. The voice heard toward the end of the recording is that of Ann Hess (Hesschen) Wigman's companion.
