Elinor Rogosin speaks with three corps de ballet members of New York City Ballet about the effect on them of the musicians' strike in the spring of 1970; their overall good relationship with management, and their working conditions; [interviews end; Rogosin comments on the dancers' remarks and speaks briefly about the respective corporate relationships of New York City Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet with the City Center of Music and Drama]; Rogosin speaks with two male dancers of the Joffrey Ballet about the economic aspects of dancing with the Joffrey Ballet including as compared with other companies and in commercial productions; their thoughts on AGMA [American Guild of Musical Artists]; the economic difficulties of obtaining public and private money for a small ballet company; touring as an economic tool; [interviews end; Rogosin speaks about structural differences between New York City Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet.].
