- Summary: Eleanor D'Antuono was the first American ballerina to have been invited to dance with the Kirov Ballet in Leningrad as a guest artist. In this interview she discusses the invitation; how she is preparing for her roles in the Kirov's versions of Swan lake and Les sylphides; American Ballet Theatre's star system. Recordings of music selections from two of the ballets she will be dancing are played: the pas de deux from Act II of Adam's Giselle and the Black Swan pas de deux from Act III of Tchaikovsky's Swan lake.
