Walter Terry speaks about a review by Tobi Tobias of the Pennsylvania Ballet and George Balanchine's use of dramatic elements in his early works; Charles Weidman's tribute to Ruth St. Denis [entitled HIghlight, and performed at the Expression of Two Arts Theater]; performances by Weidman in his studio; [the Mexican dancer] Pilar Rioja including her command of Spanish dance, her work Duende, and her charisma.
