- This recording was made as part of the research for Cohen's completion of Humphrey's autobiography: Doris Humphrey: an artist first (Middletown, CT: Wesleyan University Press, 1972).
- Sound quality ranges from very poor to poor. The recording is also marred by a continuous buzzing noise.
