Dancer Clinton Smith discusses his first exposure to dance in high school; leaving college to perform; moving briefly to Boston and then New York; joining Ballet Players; performing with Larry Ree's all-male Trockadero Gloxinia Ballet Company; developing Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo; the company's success; the various roles that he performed; getting injured in a performance of The spring waters; leaving the company.
- Cassette 2. Mr. Smith continues discussing his decision to leave Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo; working at Calvary Episcopal Church in New York City with organist and conductor Calvin Hampton and director Jim Schaefer; the influence of Isadora Duncan; tape ends abruptly.
