- In 1802, the priest of Saint-Roch refused to allow the body of Marie Chameroy to be brought into his church. Depicts a casket in a wagon, hung with crape, by the church steps. Mourners, spectators, a ferocious dog, beggars trying to placate the dog, an angry, barefoot man on the church steps with shells on his clothing.
