- Depicts Caroline and Charlotte Frédéric, daughters of Frédéric Sluyter, dancing in an Amsterdam production of Pygmalion.
- Dancer at left on right foot, arms outstretched. Wearing bodice with low rounded neckline, pointed waistline, wide panniered skirt. Dancer at right on left foot, arms outstretched. Wearing male attire: cocked hat, frock coat with skirts stiffened and flared, breeches, heeless shoes. Outdoor setting: trees, statuary.
