  • Set design for Ruth Page's ballet, Les petits riens, first performed September 17, 1946, at Her Majesty's Theatre, Montreal, by Ballet for America.
  • Set consists of two cloth panels, each suspended between two tall black posts, each supported by two taut lines anchored to the floor by pegs; the front panel obscures half of the back panel.
  • Front panel depicts the façade, of a great house in 17th or 18th century design, the most prominent feature of which is a balcony with drawn drapes. Back panel depicts a terrace with bright blue sky behind. Black supporting posts have plumes at top.
