- Gift of Ruth Page.

- Note
- Signed, lower right: Mar [19]47, R. Davison.
- Five costume designs for The coquette and the two corps de ballet couples in Ruth Page's ballet, Les petits riens. These designs are signed and dated after Ballet for America, the company for which the ballet was produced, ceased activities. They are meant, presumably, as a record of the designs rather than as working sketches.
- Five figures full-length, standing in various poses; couple at left face back; coquette and couple at right face front.
- Female figure at far left and male figure at right are finer representations of design *MGZGA Dav R Pet 8. Male figure at left and female figure at far right wear identical costumes, but in opposite color patterns, as their counterparts.
- Coquette wears tutu-length costume in red and white stripes; sleeveless bodice; gathered white overskirt with indications of flower decorations; puffed, white armlets with flowers; broad-rimmed hat with red plumes, flowers and white decoration; pink ribbons at wrists.
