Summary

Documentary showing a typical day in dancer Helen McGehee's life. She is seen teaching technique classes as well as rehearsing roles from her own works and those of the Martha Graham repertory. Includes spoken excerpts from her lectures and costumed rehearsals by her company in excerpts from two of Miss McGehee's works: Ceremonies of remembrance, and The only jealousy of Emer. Dancers appearing are Ross Parkes, Kelly Hogan, Diane Gray, Moss Cohen, Frank Ashley, Lar Roberson, Yolanda Meier, Susan Schlessinger, and Joanne Blucher.
