- Summary
- Opens with a short history of Yakshagana Bayalata, a dance drama depicting the adventures of Hindu Gods, and describes the lifestyle of Yakshagana dancers. Martha Ashton demonstrates the application of make-up and head-dress and performs a short excerpt. Ashton then demonstrates gestures from the dances in practice clothes, and finally performs the dance of Radha in costume.
