- Videotaped at the Brooklyn College Television Center on October 14, 1977 in cooperation with the Performing Arts Program of the Asia Society. Written, produced and narrated by Beate Gordon for the Asia Society. Directed by Donald W. MacLennan.
- Performed by Penca dancers and musicians of the Panglipur Association, Bandung, Sunda, Indonesia: Djadja, Didi, Abay, Holidin, Abas Kohar, and Otong (1st half); and by the Topeng Bakakan troupe from the Cirebon region of Sunda; Sujana, Bulus, Sandrut, and musicians (2d half).

- CONTENTS. - Basic exercises for Penca Silat (martial arts). Penca dances based on the movements of Penca Silat: Penca Gobang (Sword dance), Sipecut (The whip), Pamonyet (The monkey), Limbuhan (The lance), Pamacan (The tiger), and a Combat dance with knife, sword, and three-pronged dagger. A demonstration of instruments played by the Kendang Penca (musical ensemble) is included. - Topeng Babakan (masked dances of Sunda with gamelan accompaniment): three excerpts performed by Sujana, Bulus, and Sandrut. Includes demonstration of gamelan instruments.
