Narrated, written, and produced for the Asia Society by Beate Gordon as part of the Performing Arts in Asia series. Performed by dancers and musicians of the National Classical Music Institute, Seoul, Korea.

- CONTENTS. - Ch'ongsonggok: an 18th century musical composition played on the taegum (flute). - Ch'oyongmu: translated as The dance of the son of the dragon of the Eastern sea, one of the oldest native Korean dances in the court repertoire, performed by five male dancers wearing identical masks. - Mugo: a native Korean drum dance and royal court dance dating back to the 13th century, performed by eight women. - Sangryonsan: a musical composition played on the p'iri, a cylindrical double-reed pipe.
