- Signed lower right: A. Exter. On reverse: "Kostüme für das Balett [sic] von La Nijinska, 1925." Costume possibly for Bronislava Nijinska's ballet in Albert Roussel's La naissance de la lyre, first performed at the Paris Opéra, June 30, 1925. A constructivist design for a female dancer, on pointes, facing left: headdress with plume, pink disc at each elbow, dress with hoop skirt crisscrossed with wide bands.
