Kelly, Astaire, Eleanor Powell, Greta Garbo, Judy Garland, Ann Miller, Cyd Charisse, Marge and Gower Champion, Donald O'Connor, Leslie Caron, Bobby Van, and others shown in dance sequences from M-G-M musicals.
- Includes Powell in Lady be good and Born to dance; Garbo dancing in Two-faced woman: Van in Small town girl; Miller in Kiss me Kate (with Bob Fosse, Carol Haney, Tommy Rall, and Bobby Van); the Champions in Smoke gets in your eyes (from Lovely to look at); Astaire dancing on sand in I wanna be a dancin' man from The belle of New York, with Judy Garland in Easter parade, with Charisse in Silk stockings, with Nanette Fabray and Jack Buchanan as baby triplets in The bandwagon, and with Rogers in The Barclays of Broadway;
- Kelly with Garland in Be a clown from The pirate, with O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds in good morning number from Singin' in the rain, in I got rhythm and with Caron in Love is here to stay from American in Paris, with cartoon characters in Invitation to the dance, with Charisse in Gotta dance from Singin' in the rain, and dancing on roller skates in It's always fair weather. Garland also appears in the dude ranch finale of Girl crazy choreographed by Busby Berkeley.
