- Summary
- Alex Mulligan and his wife Lillian discuss the history of traditional Ontario square dancing and step dancing. He demonstrates how to teach a waltz clog to one of his students. His students Heather Davidson, Bettle Liota, Sue McIlroy and Cathy Murphy perform the waltz clog and various other step dances accompanied by fiddlers Doug Gies and Anne Lederman with Brian Pickell on the banjo. Mr. Mulligan also displays his remarkable collection of small mechanical puppets which he made himself in the form of step dancers and fiddlers.
