- A study for a stage setting for Mikhail Mordkin's ballet Dionysus, first performed by the Mordkin Ballet Company in 1938.
- A night scene with three figures sleeping on the edge of a forest. They are holding forked branches. An enormous veil is stretched across the stage behind them, generally concealing the figures at left and right who pull the fabric taut.
