- Summary
- Thirteen Ukrainian folk dances are performed out-of-doors by students dressed in authentic Ukrainian folk costumes. Included are a varsovienne, lumberjacks' dance, salt gatherers' dance, polka, basket dance, shawl dance, and gopak. Midway in the program a classical ballet polka is performed by a trio of young ballerinas featuring 10-year-old School of American Ballet student Julie Vigon. At the program's conclusion dance teacher Roma Pryma Bohachevsky is introduced.
