485 contact prints, most by Claire Holt; some photos by Alfred Hudson and Merle Ricklefs. Most depict modern paintings and sculptures and their makers; there are also some pictures of ancient and traditional architecture and monuments.
Of special interest to dance scholars are nos. 1076-77, 1080-81, depicting the Pentjak in Sumatra; 1103-1109, dancers and musicians in Sumatra; P1328, P1330-P1333, Topeng masks, 1468-1475, Merle Ricklefs' photos of the Topeng play Ken Angrok, 1969. Some photographs duplicate those found elsewhere in this collection.
