Lesson in the minuet, dramatized from the dance manual of Kellom Tomlinson, "The art of dancing", published in London, 1720. Demonstration of the notation symbols, comments on execution and style. A short sequence of Minuet d'Omphalle by Louis Pécour, 1704, shows the ballroom minuet transposed to stage. In period costumes and setting.
