- Architectural and decorative elements suggest a fashionable Parisian cafe of the l870's, rendered in red, green, gold and black. Center stage is dominated by a bar backed by a floor to ceiling mirror in gilt frame. Potted palms, gaslights, doors and windows with red drapes create period decor. Doors on either side of bar reveal interior rooms. Dancing area is framed by tables and chairs stage left and right. The proscenium is flanked by swagged curtains and caryatids holding lamps aloft.
