- Set design for Antony Tudor's ballet Offenbach in the underworld, premiered by Ballet Theatre, April 18, 1956.
- Architectural and decorative elements suggest a fashionable Parisian cafe of the 1870's, rendered in gold, red and black. A bar is at center stage with mirror and stylized sun above. Doors, windows and banquettes in red frame the dance area. Gold curtain around proscenium with swagged drapes beneath. Caryatids with lamps on either side of stage and a female dancer in pink costume stands on pointe on the left. Pencil sketches of proscenium and light fixtures along the bottom of the paper.
