Summary
Interview with Nina Verchinina, preceded by a brief biography illustrated with still photographs. Verchinina discusses her early studies with Olga Preobrajenska; her experiences with Bronislava Nijinska as a member of the Ida Rubinstein company; and especially her work with Léonide Massine, for whom she created leading roles in Les présages and Choreartium in 1933. Includes a brief b&w film clip of Verchinina dancing the role of Action in Les présages in Sydney, Australia, in 1935.
