- Signed: R.R. Bouché lower right under United Scenic Artists stamp. Inscribed lower left: Offenbach. La Lionne. Serrano. Costume design for Antony Tudor's ballet Offenbach in the underworld, premiered by Ballet Theatre, April 18, 1956.
- Full length female figure, slightly to left, with arms raised. Purple costume with low cut neck over ruffled blue underskirt. Black lace head decoration and long black lace gloves. Smaller figure in profile to left shows skirt gathered into a bustle. Fabric swatches attached. Worn by Lupe Serrano as Queen of the carriage trade.
