Summary

Recorded in the Empress Ballroom of the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, England, during the finals of the 1985 British Closed Amateur Modern and Latin Championships, and the grand finals of the British Closed Professional Modern and Latin Championships. The dances performed for the amateur modern championship are the waltz, slow fox-trot, tango, quickstep, and Viennese waltz; the same dances are performed for the professional modern championship, with the exception of the Viennese waltz. The dances performed for the amateur and professional Latin championships are the cha-cha-cha, samba, rumba, pasodoble, and jive.
