  • Shadow on the prairie (ca. 15 min., b&w) / motion picture originally released in 1953 by the National Film Board of Canada; rereleased as a Living Museum Videocassette by the Dance Collection Danse of the National Film Board of Canada; produced and directed by Roger Blais, assisted by William Davidson; director of photography, Denis Gillson; choreography, Gweneth Lloyd; music, Robert Fleming; scenery, George Ayotte after original sketches by John Graham; costumes, Stuart MacKay; danced by members of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet: Carlu Carter (the young girl), Gordon Wales (the husband), Roger Fisher (early settler), Gloria Campbell (his wife), Josephine Andrews (his daughter), Paddy McIntyre and Roger Labee (his sons), and others.
