- Filmed at a performance in the dancing-arena of the mines of Vlakfontein near Johannesburg. Men from different Bantu-speaking groups perform the following dances (identified by titles on tape): the Sotho "mohobelo"; the Zulu "ndlamu"; the Shangaan "makwaya"; the Zulu "ndlamu," performed by a group of boys; the Ndau "muchongolo," which incorporates acrobatic elements; the Xhosa-Amakewenkwe "umteyo"; and the Zingili "ndlamu."
