Summary
Panorama of camp activities, among them dancing, singing, instrumental music, glass painting, embroidery, and lectures. Excerpts from numerous folk dances are shown, usually recorded in the studio with the dancers in informal clothes; these include the mazur, siustany (Zywiec mountain dance), polonez, hujduk (Zywiec mountain dance), and mazur chlopski. Dance instructors who appear include Ada and Jaś Dziewanowski, Morley Leyton, and Jedrek Lojas, as well as camp director Basia Dziewanowska. The Janosik Polish Folk Dance Ensemble performs, in costume, the polonez, kujawiak, oberek, and mazur. Excerpts from a performance by the Polish Highlander Band also include dancing.
