- Disc 1 (approx. 62 min.): Introduction by Margaret Batiuchok. In the studio, Charlie Meade and Batiuchok dance the lindy. Meade explains and demonstrates its steps and those incorporated into it from the Charleston, shim sham, and other dances. In an interview with Batiuchok, he relates how he began to dance in his native Jamaica, then went to Europe where he performed in Buddy Bradley's shows and in films. He discusses the qualities of a good lindy dancer and different styles of dancing the lindy. - Disc 2 (approx. 58 min. total): Continuation of interview (approx. 6 min.). Improvised dance performance at the Cat Club (approx. 9 min.), recorded at CodanceCo's Gotta-dance Gotta-pay-the-rent Ball. Danced by Batiuchok, George Lloyd, Tom Lewis, and Frank Manning, accompanied by the Loren Schoenberg Big Band. Dancing by Batiuchok and Meade in the studio (approx. 43 min.), including tap dancing and an interview with Jesper Sorensen (?), with whom Meade discusses the lindy's popularity in England, where it is known as the jive, and in the U.S.
